Matt Schwehr

With more than 20 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, Matt Schwehr brings a broad understanding of the building industry to his role as Superintendent at James Clyde Homes. He joined the company in 2023, overseeing new home construction while also managing warranty needs and maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors.

Before joining James Clyde Homes, Matt managed a family-owned residential and commercial property management and tenant improvement company. He also served as Operations Director for Berkeley Building Co. and worked as a project manager overseeing subdivision construction.

Matt enjoys the collaborative nature of home building and working with a diverse group of people throughout the construction process. He believes a truly great home starts with a thoughtful floor plan and functional layout, then comes together through carefully considered finishes and details.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, backpacking, snowboarding, trail running, traveling, and attending live music.
